As an integration expert, architect and manager it is very useful to know, which adapter technologies (thus protocols) are being used in the integration layer.
So far the following interface types are providing this information:
- SAP_IS_CI (SAP Integration Suite: Cloud Integration)
- SAP_IS_APIM (SAP Integration Suite: API Management)
- SAP_PO (SAP Process Orchestration)
- SAP_IDOC (SAP ABAP Backend: IDocs)
- SAP_SOAP (SAP ABAP Backend: SOA Manager APIs)
- SAP_XI (SAP ABAP Backend: SOAP XI Proxies)
- AZURE_APIM (Microsoft Azure API Management)
Adapters are listed in the Reporting & Metadata section of each interface in the Inventory:

If the interface is part of an End-to-End Integration, the E2E-Integration shows all adapters used in the interfaces:

In the Reporting area you find Adapter Usage as Overview, by Interface and by End-to-End Integration:

On the overview dashboard you find the charts about Top 5 and Strategy Fit (filtered on interfaces from Production environment):

The Integration Strategy Fit can be configured in Settings > Configuration > Start Page where you can define if an Adapter is a Good Fit (matching your integration strategy), No Fit (to be avoided), Partial Fit (tolerated, but not ideal):
